Chris Tyler, DDS

Dr. Chris Tyler was raised in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School. He went on to graduate from Luther College and eventually the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1996. He has been with this dental practice since his graduation, purchasing the business from Dr. Arlon Berkhof in 2005.

Dr. Tyler is a member of the University District Dental Society and the Iowa and American Dental Associations. He served as President of the Linn County Dental Society in 2005.

He and his wife, Charity, have two daughters, Callista and Samantha, and a son, Jonathan. In his free time, he is a volunteer coach for the Washington High School men’s swim team, a member of Daybreak Rotary, and swims for the Milky Way Masters swim club in Cedar Rapids. He is also an avid cyclist, enjoys participating in RAGBRAI, and is a loyal Hawkeye and Cubs fan.

Amy Link, DDS

Dr. Amy Link was raised in Newhall and attended Benton Community High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Coe College and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2005.

Dr. Link is a member of the University District Dental Society, the Iowa and American Dental Associations, and served as president of the Linn County Dental Society in 2013. She donates her time to the underserved by volunteering for Donated Dental Services of Iowa and enjoys teaching oral health to area schools and daycares for Children’s Dental Health month.

Dr. Link resides in Robins with her husband, Joe, and their four children: Trenton, Avery, Bennett, and Sullivan. Evenings and weekends are spent on the tennis courts or cheering on her kids at the fields, on the courts, or on stage!

Tom Barnes, DDS

Dr. Tom Barnes grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1999.

Following dental school Dr. Barnes began his active duty military service as a member of the United States Navy Dental Corps, serving in Yokosuka, Japan and Parris Island, South Carolina. He is a member of the University District Dental Society as well as the Iowa and American Dental Associations.

In his free time, Dr. Barnes enjoys football Saturdays watching the Hawkeyes, as well as kayaking, hiking, and backpacking with his wife, Christie.
